In a tight game in Aberaeron the home side came out on a top in a game where they were the better side over the 90 minutes. Aeron took the lead within quarter of an hour after a defensive mix-up led to a scramble in the box. In a game of little quality, the home side doubled their lead after Aberporth gave away possession cheaply and paid the price. Aberporth pulled a goal back through Matthew Smith to set up a tense final 15 minutes however the home side held on for a deserved win.
